This cleanup event was a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared mission and multiple strategies to tackle a serious problem.
With support from our incredible volunteers and private boat captains, Waterway Warriors conducted a multi-method cleanup across four separate locations, targeting both shoreline and land-based trash that threatens the Indian River Lagoon ecosystem.
This event was proudly conducted in collaboration with Keep Brevard Beautiful, whose mission aligns closely with ours—protecting our environment through hands-on community action. Together, we were able to make a meaningful impact in multiple areas at once and help keep harmful debris from reaching the Indian River Lagoon.
