In areas frequently used by reckless “carless partiers,” volunteers deployed magnetic rollers to remove 17,000+ rusty nails and other toxic metal debris from the ground...sharp, dangerous debris that can injure wildlife, barefoot visitors, pets, and even puncture vehicle tires. These nails don’t disappear… they end up in feet, paws, tires, and eventually the water. This cleanup wasn’t just about trash—it was about preventing injuries and protecting our local environment before it gets worse. Great job, Warriors!
