Private boat captains were absolute heroes, transporting volunteers across the Indian River to reach hard-to-access embankments along the Pineda Causeway. These steep, overgrown areas trap trash that blows off the roadway and can quickly end up in the water if it’s not removed. Thanks to our incredible boat teams, volunteers were able to reach and clean areas that are nearly impossible to access from land—making a huge impact for the Lagoon!
