We don't clean the waterways just so people have a pretty place to recreation...
We recognized that trash negatively affects the waters, aquatic plant life, aquatic animals, terrestrial wildlife AND humans. So we choose to do something about it! Our success is measured by the pounds of trash prevented and removed by our waterways. When we work ourselves out of a job, we'll know that we've achieved our mission!

The Waterway Warriors are a vital part of our community, with our impact and reach growing every year. We are founded on the premise that ONE PERSON DOING ONE SIMPLE TASK DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Seems simple? It is… and it’s not! Although our mission is simple, we accomplish it through many different methods. This provides MANY different ways for a volunteer to be a part of the solution.
