SR528 Group Cleanup in collaboration with Space Coast Water Sweep
Two Teams. One Mission. Cleaner Water. We’re excited to join forces with Space Coast Water Sweep for a collaborative cleanup along SR 528 and the Banana River, and we need YOU to be part of it!
Whether you prefer cleaning the shoreline, wading into the water, paddling a kayak, or heading out on your boat, there’s a way for everyone to help. A LOT of the trash in this area is actually IN the knee-deep water, so we’ll be tackling debris both on land and in the water.
What to wear: Closed-toed shoes are required for shoreline cleanup, and water shoes are recommended if you plan to get in the water.
Bring YOUR OWN boat or kayak if you have one, or just bring yourself and come ready to make a difference. Every volunteer helps, and every piece of trash removed is one less piece that can harm our waterways and wildlife.
We'll provide grabbers, buckets, safety vests, gloves, and trash bags—just wear closed-toe shoes, bring your own hydration, and a desire to make a difference!
